I did hear it today adding some extra notes while still clearly using the original four notes. It reminded me of how jazz musicians improvise around a melody.

Thank you Glyn. So beautiful. At our place we have many many magpies. Their songs amazing. They sometimes are drowned out by the dozens of Kookaburras in full voice. 🙂
